Turkish Book Review 3 Yayımlandı
Türkiye’nin tek İngilizce kitap tanıtım dergisi Turkish Book Review’un üçüncü sayısı yayımlandı. Yılda iki sayı olarak yayımlanan derginin bu sayısında elliden fazla kitap tanıtılıyor. Edebiyat çevirilerinin ele alındığı özel bölümde Walter Andrews’ın Türk edebiyatının uluslararası tanıtımının sorunları üzerine bir yazısı, Saliha Paker’le çeviri ve çeviribilim hayatı üzerine bir söyleşi, Murathan Mungan’ın Geyikler, Lanetler kitabının çevirisinin tanıtımı, Georg Messo’nun İlhan Berk çevirisi üzerine değerlendirmesi, Emma Foulger’in Yaşar Kemal yorumu ve John Smolens’ın Orhan Pamuk’un Kar‘ını okuması yer alıyor. Ersan Üldes’in on genç romanı, Ataol Behramoğlu’nun Nazım Hikmet’i, Orhan Kahyaoğlu’nun küçük İskender’i tanıttığı dergide karikatür ve çizgi roman dünyasından Bahadır Baruter ve Yiğit Özgür’le yapılmış mizah konulu bir söyleşi de yer alıyor.
